Welcome to Unia Zathe

In the charming village of Ee (Ie), between Dokkum and the Wadden Sea, you'll find our farmstead from 1815 named Unia Zathe. Since 2026, we have taken over Unia Zathe from the previous owners Cor & Ron, who realized the accommodations in the farm. We will continue to maintain this farmstead at this beautiful location. We offer two lovely B&B rooms, an apartment, and a vacation home where you can truly feel like you're staying on a farm.

Our B&B rooms, named Greide (pasture) and Miede (hayfield), are suitable for two people and are located upstairs in the hay barn under the old beams. On the ground floor, you'll find our spacious apartment Hea-Opslach (hay storage), which can accommodate 2 to 6 people. A nice feature is a large bedroom with four sleeping spots. The Hea-opslag is wheelchair accessible. Our vacation home, named It Foarhûs (Front House), accommodates 4 to 6 people. Upstairs, there's a double bedroom in the attic, and on the second floor you'll find another two-person bedroom with two additional single beds downstairs.

For families or groups of friends, we can combine our accommodations to create unique 10-person (The Skuorre) or 16-person (The Pleats) family stays. Perfect for successful gatherings in a unique location with an equally unique setting.
