Unique overnight stays near Dokkum and the Wadden Sea

In the beautiful terp village of Ee (Ie), near Dokkum and the Wadden Sea, you will find Unia Zathe: our characteristic Frisian place from 1815, located on an ancient terp. A cozy guest farm for those who enjoy peace, space, and the real Friesland. At Unia Zathe, you can stay in two atmospheric B&B rooms, a spacious apartment, or a characteristic holiday home. A great base for cyclists, hikers, and mudflat walkers, but also for couples, small families, and friend groups who want to enjoy the peace and space of Northeast Friesland together.

B&B Rooms Greide and Miede

Our spacious B&B rooms Greide (Pasture) and Miede (Meadow) are suitable for two people. They are located on the first floor, above the former hay barn and under the beautiful old beams of the farm. A special place to completely unwind after a day of walking along the Ziltepad or the Friese Woudenpad, cycling or exploring.

Apartment Hea-Opslach

On the ground floor you will find Hea-Opslach (Hay Storage), our spacious apartment for 2 to 6 people. A special detail is the large bed box with four sleeping places. Hea-Opslach is spacious and therefore also suitable for guests who are less mobile.

Holiday home It Foarhûs

The Foarhûs (Voorhuis) is our cozy holiday home for 4 to 6 people. In the characteristic living room, you'll find a bedstee for two people. Upstairs, accessible via a slightly narrower staircase, is a double bedroom. On the mezzanine, there are two comfortable single box spring beds.

Group accommodation for 10 or 16 people

Are you coming with family or friends? Then we can combine our accommodations. This creates De Skuorre, a unique accommodation for up to 10 people, or De Pleats for up to 16 people. For larger groups, our central space can also be added to the stay: a nice place to eat together, catch up, and spend time with each other.

Rust, space and the Wadden Sea

From Unia Zathe, you can easily discover Dokkum, the Lauwersmeer and the Wadden area. Hop on your bike, lace up your hiking boots, go wading or explore the vastness of the Wadden Sea.

And when the day comes to an end, it really gets quiet and dark here. A place to come together, to slow down and enjoy the starry sky on clear nights.
