Welcome to Unia Zathe

In the beautiful village of Ie (Ee), between Dokkum and the Wad, you'll find our pleats (farmhouse) from 1815 named Unia Zathe. Since 2026 we have taken over Unia Zathe from the previous owners Cor & Ron who have realized the accommodations in the farmhouse. We will continue this pleats on this beautiful location. We have two nice B&B rooms, a apartment and a vacation house where you'll really feel like being in a farmhouse.

Our B&B rooms named Greide (meadow) and Miede (hayfield) are suitable for two people and are located upstairs in the hayloft under the old beams. On the ground floor you'll find our spacious apartment Hea-Opslach (haystacking) that is suitable for 2 to 6 people. A nice detail is the large bedstead with four sleeping places. The Hea-opslag is wheelchair accessible. Our vacation house It Foarhûs (Front House) is a vacation home for 4 to 6 people. In the living room you'll find a bedstead for two people. On the floor above you'll find another double bedroom and on the attic 2 extra single beds.

For families or groups of friends we can combine our accommodations with each other, resulting in a unique 10 -person (De Skuorre) or 16-person (De Pleats) family accommodation. Ideal for a successful together experience in a unique location in an equally unique environment.
