House rules for Unia Zathe accommodations Version: January 1, 2026
Welcome to B&B Unia Zathe!
To make your stay as pleasant as possible, we kindly ask you to observe the following house rules:
Arrival & Departure
- Check-in is possible from [see room reservation].
- Please check out before [see room reservation].
- If you arrive later than agreed or wish to depart very early, please let us know.
Quiet & Respect
We ask our guests to respect the peace and quiet of others between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM (both inside and outside). Please respect our accommodation, the surroundings, neighbors, and other guests.
Smoking & Open Fire
Smoking is not permitted anywhere in Unia Zathe's accommodations.
Outdoor smoking is allowed in the designated area. Please adhere to this rule due to fire hazard and use the provided ashtrays. It is not permitted to cook, grill, or fry in the accommodations due to fat/odor (to avoid disturbing the next guests). It is also prohibited to use your own appliances inside or outside the accommodations. Cooking or barbecuing around the farm is not allowed without prior consultation due to fire hazard. If you wish to barbecue, please discuss the location near the terrace and materials with us first (we have a barbecue available). After use, please clean up thoroughly and do not leave any food scraps due to pest control.
Pets
Dogs are welcome but only after prior consultation. Additional fees apply per stay. If permitted: always in consultation and never leave your dog unattended in the accommodation. Please keep your dog on a leash and clean up after it both on our property and in the village (bags available in the shed). Pets are not allowed on beds or furniture. There are many beautiful walking routes with your dog. If you've forgotten something, just ask us!
Visitors
Before receiving visitors during your stay in one of our accommodations, please consult with us first.
Breakfast
Breakfast is served at [see room reservation] depending on your booking. If you have dietary requirements or allergies, please let us know in advance so we can accommodate them if possible.
Room Use
Linen should not be taken to the Wadden Sea for swimming or sunbathing. Please bring your own. We assume that no one intentionally damages other people's property, but accidents happen. If something breaks or gets damaged, please report it immediately so we can find a suitable solution together during your stay. Any damage caused by you (or your party) to Unia Zathe's property will be at your expense (we assume you have insurance). You will be held responsible for such damages. The determination of the damage cost is at the discretion of the owner of Unia Zathe. If necessary, an external expert can be consulted by the person held responsible.
Safety
Do not leave valuable items unattended. When leaving your room/accommodation, please lock doors and windows. If damage occurs due to neglect, you will be held responsible for any consequences or damages. Use electrical appliances responsibly and do not leave them on unnecessarily. Charging cars is not permitted (charging stations for cars are available at the sports park). For charging bikes or separate batteries, please consult with us about the location.
Liability
B&B Unia Zathe is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during or as a result of your stay in one of our accommodations. We cannot be held responsible for accidents caused by negligence inside and around the property. Parking is at your own risk. Entering the guest accommodations is also at your own risk.
Waste & Sustainability
We value sustainability. Help us by separating waste where possible and using energy conscientiously. To prevent pests, please deposit waste in the designated bins. Do not flush anything other than toilet paper down the toilet. Separate collection bins for paper/glass/batteries are available in the shed. Reusable shopping bags are provided at the entrance. We use sustainable cleaning and laundry products as much as possible.
Noise & Disturbance
We ask you to respect the day/evening/night peace. No more guests than the booked number of people may stay in the accommodation without prior request due to regulations and safety considerations.
Organizing parties, events, etc. is not permitted.
Youth groups, student associations, and other celebrating groups are not welcome due to the location and permits of our accommodations. Unia Zathe reserves the right to immediately close and terminate the stay for any groups that violate these rules.
