General Terms and Conditions B&B Unia Zathe Version: January 1, 2026
These general terms and conditions apply to all reservations and stays at B&B Unia Zathe, located in Ie, Friesland, the Netherlands.
1. Reservations
A reservation is final once confirmed by Unia Zathe. When making a reservation, a (down)payment may be requested. By reserving, the guest agrees to these general terms and conditions, the house rules, and the cancellation policy.
2. Payment
Payment should be made according to the arrangements specified in the reservation confirmation. Any additional costs incurred during the stay must be paid upon departure, unless otherwise agreed. In case of late payment, Unia Zathe reserves the right to cancel the reservation.
If reserved directly with Unia Zathe, the following applies:
3. Cancellation and Changes
Cancellation and changes are subject to the applicable cancellation policy of Unia Zathe. Cancellations must be communicated in writing (by email). In case of early departure, no refund will be given.
4. Arrival and Departure
Check-in is possible from the agreed time. Check-out should take place before the agreed time. If the check-out time is exceeded, an additional fee may be charged.
5. Stay and Use of Accommodation
During their stay, guests must adhere to the house rules of Unia Zathe. The accommodation and inventory should be used with care. Damage or loss caused by the guest may be charged.
6. Liability
Unia Zathe is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal property of the guest. Unia Zathe is not liable for injury, accidents, or damage occurring during the stay, unless there is intent or gross negligence. The registered guest is fully liable for any damage caused by themselves or their fellow guests and accepts full responsibility for the behavior of all guests in their party and any damage caused by them.
7. Force Majeure
In case of force majeure (such as natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, fire, illness, or government measures), Unia Zathe has the right to cancel or modify the reservation. In such a case, the already paid amount will be refunded, without further compensation.

Unia Zathe processes personal data in accordance with applicable privacy legislation. See Unia Zathe's privacy statement for more information on the processing of personal data.
9. Complaints
Complaints should be reported as soon as possible during the stay so that we have the opportunity to resolve them promptly. If a complaint is not resolved to satisfaction, it can be submitted in writing within 14 days after departure.
10. Governing Law
Dutch law applies to all agreements with Unia Zathe. Disputes are preferably resolved through mutual consultation.
11. Final Provision
If one or more provisions of these terms and conditions prove to be invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
