General Terms and Conditions B&B Unia Zathe Versie: 1 January 2026
These general terms and conditions apply to all bookings and stays at B&B Unia Zathe, located in Friesland, the Netherlands.
1. Bookings
A booking is final as soon as it has been confirmed by Unia Zathe. When making a booking, a (pre)payment may be requested. By booking, the guest agrees to these general terms and conditions, house rules, and cancellation conditions.
2. Payment
Payment must be made in accordance with the agreements as mentioned in the booking confirmation. Any additional costs during the stay must be paid upon departure, unless otherwise agreed. In case of late payment, Unia Zathe reserves the right to cancel the booking.
If a booking is made directly with Unia Zathe, the following applies:
3. Cancellation and changes
Cancellations and changes are subject to Unia Zathe's applicable cancellation conditions. Cancellations must be submitted in writing (by email). No refund will be made for early departure.
4. Arrival and departure
Check-in is possible from the agreed time. Check-out must take place before the agreed time. Exceeding the check-out time may result in an additional fee being charged.
5. Stay and use of accommodation
The guest must comply with Unia Zathe's house rules during their stay. The accommodation and inventory must be used with care. Damage or loss caused by the guest can be invoiced.
6. Liability
Unia Zathe is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings of the guest. Unia Zathe is not liable for injury, accidents, or damage occurring during the stay, unless there is intent or gross negligence. The registered guest is fully liable for damage caused by themselves or their fellow guests and accepts full liability for the behavior of all guests in their group and any damage caused by them.
7. Force Majeure
In case of force majeure (such as natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, fire, illness, or government measures), Unia Zathe has the right to cancel or change the booking. In such a case, the already paid amount will be refunded without further compensation.

Unia Zathe processes personal data in accordance with applicable privacy legislation. See Unia Zathe's privacy statement for more information on the processing of personal data.
9. Complaints
Complaints must be reported as soon as possible during the stay, so that we can attempt to resolve them as soon as possible. If a complaint is not resolved to the guest's satisfaction, it may be submitted in writing no later than 14 days after departure.
10. Applicable law
All agreements with Unia Zathe are subject to Dutch law. Disputes will preferably be settled through mutual agreement.
11. Final provision
If one or more provisions of these terms and conditions prove to be invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
